Living City Design Competition is a global design competition, developed by the International Living Building Institute, in partnership with the National Trust for Historic Preservation. It "invites the world’s most talented and daring designers, planners, artists and animators to create a new global vision for the city of the future" based explicitly on the Imperatives of the Living Building Challenge 2.0™.
The graphic identity for the competition is conceived as a "lens" for framing the future. The concept both encourages participants to immediately celebrate and share existing examples, via photos posted to flickr, in their own neighborhoods and villages while inspiring the spectrum of possibilities.
